Functional Breathing & Breathwork
Unlock the Power of Your Breath
Discover the life-changing benefits of functional breathing. Your breath is more than just inhaling and exhaling—it’s a powerful tool to unlock deeper relaxation, boost your health, and enhance overall well-being. My fascination with breathing began with the ancient tradition of Pranayama, in which I am trained, and deepened through the therapeutic principles of CPCAB and the science-backed Oxygen Advantage® method, where I qualified as an Advanced Oxygen Advantage® Instructor. Whether you seek stress relief, better sleep, or improved athletic performance, mastering your breath can transform your life..
Changing the way you breathe can transform not only how you feel in just a few minutes but also your entire body chemistry and metabolism. This is because breathing is directly connected to your autonomic nervous system. You'll discover how your ability to face challenging or uncomfortable situations expands significantly.Through your breath, you can improve your health, sports performance and remain stable, calm, and creative.—no matter what life throws your way.

The Three Three Dimensions of Breathing
Three fundamental factors influence how your breathing works: the biochemical, the biomechanical, and the psychophysiological. However, most breathing schools, techniques, and methods today emphasize or are based solely on the biomechanical dimension—the way it functions mechanically and muscularly. Some only focus on one of the three.
When practicing breathing exercises, the biomechanical, biochemical, and psychophysiological functions or dimensions are inextricably linked and must be considered together. Think of the three dimensions of breathing as a three-legged table—if one leg is missing, the table won’t stand!
Biochemistry
The true role of carbon dioxide in your breathing, overall metabolism, and especially your nervous system has been largely ignored until now. CO₂ is even more fundamental to living organisms than oxygen. It is the only gas produced in all tissues and the only one that acts on every organ.
Biomechanics
When you use the right muscles, your breathing becomes more efficient, your posture improves, and you gain greater mobility. Additionally, it enhances the gut-heart-brain connection, significantly impacting your overall health, emotions, and well-being
Psycho-Physiology
Your breath directly influences your physiology, mind, and emotions, as well as heart rate variability. Stress can be caused by poor breathing, just as poor breathing can be a result of stress. Your breathing rate plays a crucial role in regulating your body's autonomic functions

Why Breathwork? A Skeptic’s Perspective
Many people approach terms like Breathing Coach, Breathwork, and Pranayama with skepticism—and I completely understand why.
Unlike the immediate, tangible effects of practicing yoga poses (Asanas) or receiving coaching, Breathwork can feel more abstract when it comes to health and well-being. After all, breathing is something we do automatically; we don’t need to think about it.
Yet, in the rush of daily life—work, stress, constant thoughts—we become disconnected from our own feelings, sensations, and, most importantly, our breath.
The Science Behind Breathing
After years of practicing Pranayama and Breathwork and witnessing its incredible benefits for both mind and body, I felt compelled to deepen my understanding.
This led me to:
Become a Certified Breath Coach (CPCAB)
Train as an Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor
Join the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF)
Breathwork naturally became the key pillar of my Health Coaching practice and yoga classes, as well as an integral part of my daily life—whether at home, at work, or in the gym.
The Benefits of Breathwork
Beyond alleviating anxiety and enhancing mood, Breathwork can also support:
Sports performance
Corporate job performance
Navigating pregnancy challenges
Burnout recovery
Eating disorder recovery
Overall well-being
Your Breath gives you the power to “manipulate your nervous system at will”—whether you need to increase or reduce energy, or find balance.
It has the potential to help you become the best version of yourself in ways that go beyond words.
